McKelvey Homes to build $20 million luxury development in South County

Coming Soon to South County! McKelvey Homes will open a $20 million luxury community.

The plans call for 21 homes on 20.2 acres of land on Schuessler Road near St. Anthony’s Medical Center, according to President Jim Brennan. “Each home includes high end amenities including 3-car side entry courtyard style garages, distinctive brick & stone elevations, fiber cement siding,  extensive hardwood flooring, deluxe kitchens with granite counter-tops, designer cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and double ovens, and much more on half-acre sites and will start in the upper $600,000 price range.”

McKelvey’s Bentley home includes high-end amenities, such as 3-car side entry courtyard 

“We broke into the luxury market a few years ago with the Enclave at Bellerive in Creve Coeur along with a few scattered homesites around the area, but now it’s a big part of our business,” Brennan said. “Luxury homes have been booming for us.”

Purchasers can select from spectacular ranch and 1.5 story homes ranging from 2,600 to over 4,100 square feet.

He expects to break ground at the development, called Schuessler Valley Estates,  a lushly wooded and private enclave nestled around two cul-de-sacs, lined with mature trees this summer with display homes ready by the fall.
