Why Dravet is important and unique to us:
Our President, Jim Brennan’s Great Niece Anna is afflicted with Dravet Syndrome which is a rare and catastrophic form of epilepsy. Little Anna is now 4 years old and continues to grow up as a happy little girl despite the many challenges that she experiences. She is now attending preschool for up to 2 hours per day and has in-person therapy sessions for speech, physical, occupational, and equestrian most days. As you can imagine this is a strain on Anna and the entire family. Also attached is an update on precious little Anna.
Three years ago the entire Brennan family held our inaugural Dance for Dravet to help raise funds to find a cure for this terrible disease. Thanks to the generous support of you our friends and family we have raised over $590,000 to date to help fund research.
