At McKelvey Homes, we believe in the power of giving back to the community. That’s why, from January 1st through March 31st, for every home we sell, we’ll donate $1,898 to the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition. Together, we’re working to create brighter futures for local children impacted by foster care.

About the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition

The Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, based in St. Louis, MO, is dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for children in foster care. Since its founding in 1989, the Coalition has been a trailblazer in child welfare, creating programs that are setting the standard both locally and nationally.

Their Mission and Vision

• Mission: To create permanency in foster children’s lives by recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families in the St. Louis region.
• Vision: For every child... A place to call home.

The Coalition’s innovative programs—like Extreme Recruitment® and 30 Days to Family®—have gained national recognition for their success in connecting children with relatives or kin and finding homes for those hardest to place. By 2029, the Coalition aims to serve 100% of the 1,000 children entering foster care in the St. Louis metro area each year.

• Recruitment Programs: Finding loving families for children in need through culturally competent recruitment and family-finding initiatives.
• Support Programs: Offering training, peer support, and material resources to foster families.
